and

Dear Global Citizen,
I’m Dr. Mitch Abrams — a physician, TEDx speaker, and certified educator of applied compassion through Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE).
The invitation I’m about to share with you is not political. It’s about humanity.

A Personal Invitation
I’m inviting you to the Nova Exhibit for a powerful 60-minute presentation — an opportunity to step beyond the headlines and explore the science that reveals something deeper about your own humanity.
True healing begins when we see ourselves in each other — with empathy and recognition for each other’s experience. From there we can begin to step back and reflect on our collective journey and envision a brighter future.
A Mirror
The massacre at the Nova music festival on October 7th 2023, near the border of Gaza in Israel, provides a shocking mirror for humanity — exposing a level of disconnection that has deeply infiltrated our human family.
The root-cause of discrimination, hate and violence in our world lies in the illusion that we are separate from one another. That illusion leads to fear of the other. Fear becomes blame. And blame turns into hate and violence.
Hate is like a weed — if we don’t address the root, it keeps growing back. As long as we see others as separate, we’ll keep fighting the surface instead of healing what lies beneath.

What To Expect
 Walk Through the Exhibit
- You’ll have a chance to walk through the exhibit quietly on your own and bear witness to the events that happened at the Nova Festival on October 7th.
 - You’ll walk through a reconstructed representation of the Festival grounds, see and touch artifacts, and hear from the people who were there.
Â
Enter the Healing Room
- Following your walk-through, you’ll be invited into the healing room where you will witness the incredible power of community — and how post-traumatic stress can be transformed into post-traumatic growth through love and community.
 - You’ll witness how grief can be transformed into purpose.
Â
A Talk on Science, Love, and Wisdom
- Finally, in the healing energy of the sanctuary, I’ll share a powerful hour of science, love and wisdom with you.
 - You’ll be introduced to the science of heart coherence, frequency, and the heart-brain connection. We’ll explore how emotions like compassion and fear have ripple effects that shape not only our biology, but our relationships, our communities, and the global field we all live in.

Rooted in Science
This isn’t abstract theory — it’s physics and neurobiology. It’s the science behind how we connect and thrive.
You’ll walk away with a tangible vision of how you can personally contribute to a brighter future by learning to embody love, cultivate coherence, and spread peace by tapping into the power of your own heart.
