SOUND OF CARE
COMMUNITY & ONLINE SYMPOSIUM
A Global Gathering Exploring What Becomes Possible When Care Leads the Way
September 18 - 20, 2026
FREE to Attend 💜 Donations Welcome
We believe humanity is capable of creating a more caring and sustainable future. The Sound of Care brings together diverse voices, lived experiences, emerging science, and collective wisdom to explore how that future can begin within ourselves, our communities, and the systems that shape our world.
Together we explore TWO LEADING QUESTIONS...
How do we create a world where care leads the way in all sectors of society?
AND
How do you personally express and apply care in your life and work?
WE NEED YOUR VOICE.
That question has brought together a remarkable group of heart-centered thinkers, scientists, educators, physicians, artists, innovators, students, and everyday citizens from many nations, from all generations and all walks of life, who care deeply about the future we are creating together.

AND...
There's something you need to know:
Meaningful systems-level transformation begins with something much deeper. It requires a transformation in the way we understand ourselves and the world around us.
We believe that the development of real and lasting change relies on the recognition that we are far more connected to each other — and to life itself — than we've been led to believe.
The deepest place to create change is in the mindset or paradigm that gives rise to the system itself.
Global Heart Sync's Sound of Care event begins from this understanding.
Because lasting change does not begin only with institutions and systems.
It begins with the human consciousness.
What becomes possible when...
We feel more connected to one another
We lead with our hearts
We shift from fear to support and collaboration
From this place, conversations about care-first education, care-first economics, care-first healthcare, care-first leadership, care-first communities, and care-first societies take on an entirely new meaning.
Care is no longer a liability.
It becomes a practical, measurable, participatory force for transformation.

How This All Began
"On December 30th, 2025, I received an email from Riane Eisler with the words: ‘Care has been the subject of my books and articles for a long time.’ Riane shared her concern about the worldwide devaluation of care.
As I crossed into 2026, I had a deep sense that this would become a year devoted to the theme of care — and that we would gather people together from around the world to explore what becomes possible when care truly leads the way.”
— Louis Bohtlingk
Riane Eisler was inducted on March 19, 2026 into the California Hall of Fame in recognition of her work on the care economy, gender equity, early childhood investment, and long-term human wellbeing. It was hosted by California governor Gavin Newson.
The Sound of Care emerged from a growing vision to help bring the conversation of care into the mainstream — not only as an ideal, but as a practical foundation for the future of humanity.
It is intended not just as a one-time symposium, but as an impactful conversation and community that continues to grow over time.
Care First World Magazine
‘The Sound of Care’ emerged from the movement created by the Care First World magazine and the Care First inspiration received by Louis Bohtlingk in 1997. Care First means we let our heart lead the way in all money matters, making sure money serves the well being of people and the Earth.
The magazines share the message of Care First, activate heart intelligence, and share positive news to strengthen our hearts in these challenging times. It contains uplifting, inspiring, and encouraging content in a non-divisive, non-imposing manner. All magazines are educational and people read the previous issues as much as the latest one.
We share the digital version with everyone as a gift. We share the printed version by gifting the magazine forward. It is being read in over 100 countries.
Vol 7 contains articles of most presenters of ‘The Sound of Care’ and is a preparation towards the event. When people want to engage more with us in advance of the event, we invite them to read Vol 7 and respond to the leading question.
